Lets just get right to the point. Russia has a new fighter aircraft that is going to be in mass production sometime within the next year or so. It's capable of Mach 1.7 - 1.8 supercruise (F22 is rated 1.7 supercruise) and they are planning a Navy version as well that can be launched and recovered by the Russian Fleet's Flag Ship (and only aircraft carrier). For all the goodies and in depth info, click here: PAK FA.
In all honesty this isn't all that surprising, our intelligence knew that eventually other countries would catch up to our technology. It took them a century to do it considering the F22 has been around a good while now but credit where credit is due, this new Sukhoi produced aircraft is one hell of a performer.
If you decipher all the nerd speak, its got several radar points (2 in the wings, 1 in the nose and 1 in the ass which means it knows everything that is going on around it 360 degrees), 360 degree trust vectoring (F22 is limited to up and down only), Front canards that work in conjunction with the thrust nozzles as well as the ailerons, rudders, and elevators (NASA experimented with front canards on the F15XL but the project was scraped along with the delta winged F16XL), and to top all of this off its not even using its production engines yet which are supposedly more efficient and achieve greater thrust values (IE: It's going to be faster than it already is).
You can bet if this aircraft really is all its cracked up to be, it's going to give the F22 a REALLY bad day.
Because the F22 is no longer being produced, logic tells us that the Pentagon already has something else in the works to stay one step ahead (as always). Especially considering that China and Japan are debuting their new 5th gen fighters in the next few years.
The scary part is that the PAK FA (aka T-50 and SU-50) isn't being built just for the Russians. Other countries including North Korea and India have been placed on the waiting list.
So what's all of this mean for our Air Force? If you are thinking the F35 is going to come and save the day, keep in mind that it is NOT a direct replacement for the Navy's F/A-18E/F Super Hornet or the Air Force's F15C/E Eagle (The top 2 aircraft under the F22 for Multirole Fighter OPS). The F35 Lightning II was designed to be and will be a replacement for the F16 Falcon, F/A-18C/D Hornet, Harrier, and A10 Warthog. The F22 was designed for the Air Force to be the direct replacement for the F15C/E but since the production has been terminated it is not clear what the Air Force plans to do long term to replace the F15.
My speculation leads me to believe there is a significant rework going behind closed doors of the F22 by Lockheed Martin as well as Boeing. Both firms will undoubtedly be debuting test aircraft within the next 5 years when the Defense budget has stabilized. The Pentagon will award the contract to the winning aircraft as usual (the Lockheed F22 beat out the Northrop YF23 for the 5th gen contract and the Lockheed F35 beat out the Boeing X32 for JSF. Seeing a pattern yet? Lockheed knows their shit when it comes to building Military Aircraft.)
Having said that, the only 6th Gen Fighter currently declassified to the level of "Concept" at this stage is the F/A-XX from Boeing. This bugger hasn't even entered the build stage yet and is proposed as a direct replacement to the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet by 2025. Beyond that there is very little information about it.
The latest info that everyone has managed to gather is that the Air Force is going to focus on completing its JSF project and start retiring aircraft that have extended well beyond their service lives. I foresee a potential problem however that if they don't invest in next gen tech now, we could be looking @ several potential threats to homeland security as well as air superiority. The production numbers for the JSF top just over the 3000 mark for the Navy, Air Force, Marines and various NATO/Allied countries such is Israel and Germany.
So, I ask you, what do you think needs to happen? Should the DOD focus on completing the JSF before investing in next gen tech, or should we be concerned about the potential threat that we may lose our edge in the skies because we are on a level playing field?
The F35, despite everything that the DOD has assured us, is NOT the solution to maintaining air superiority. What makes us the most deadly country in the skies is the fact that we have the most advanced weaponry. That dominance seems to be fading away rather quickly the longer we sit back and let the President fund his personal agenda.

The Varyag or "Shi Lang" Begins Sea Trials
Remember my older post about the Chinese Aircraft Carrier? If you don't, feel free to look back about 2 posts or so on my blog.
For the readers digest version, it's a soviet aircraft carrier (code name Varyag) that never was officially commissioned by the USSR since the Cold War had ended before it saw sea action. Then it was sold at an auction to the Chinese, stripped of its engines, power plant, and weapons systems. It has a sister ship that still serves as the flag ship of the soviet navy (the Admiral Kuznetsov).
Here's the latest from BBC World News.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-14470882
The truth is obviously being thrown out the window. As you know, my information leads me as well as officials in the Pentagon to believe the PLA are doing much MORE than just research and human rights peace missions with this ship. It's a warship. A zebra can never change its stripes.
Obviously, they are far behind the US Military in terms of weapons development but having said that, they are working on modernizing and catching up to us. If you can't see that, then the media's bullshit is obviously doing its job by blinding you from what Homeland Security is trying to keep hidden.
Try sleeping tonight after considering this:
China is working on a global offensive weapons program. IE, parking a nuclear missile 100 miles off the coast of DC or LA is very possible.

He's dead, lets cut the cake.
It's been several weeks since my last post, so, welcome back to the land of political porn and world wide poontang.
Let's get something straight off the bat. Yes, Osama/Usama is dead. Thank god for that but fuck all of you mother fuckers that think this news is the best thing since fried rice. Seriously, shut the fuck up and lets move on shall we?
Here's what everyone needs to know. Pakistan may or may not have been involved in keeping this fucker hidden (albeit piss poorly hidden) from us but that's besides the new issue now. We may have a chance to go after some other head fuckers that are part of the Taliban that are in Pakistan and now the Pakistan PM is basically saying if we don't ask politely first, they are gonna take all necessary action and force to meet ours.
I'm sorry but who the fuck do these mother fuckers think they are? We are the United States of America and we will we will rock you fuck you rape you and kick the ever living shit out of you. Threatening us is like an ant picking a fight with a black widow, it's not gonna go very well for the ant.
Bravo to Obama for doing as well as he has thus far regarding the whole situation. Let's see if he continues to have balls of steel should these Pakistan durka fuckers try to pull some bullshit on us.

Libya needs blue balls
Day 485 billion 675 million.... yeah whatever.
I've seen hundreds of reports for the past 4 weeks saying the same shit over and over and over again. "Gaddafi must go". No fuckin shit people. When the fuck is France or the UK gonna just say "Fuck it, lets take him out"? How many bombs and missiles do NATO air forces need to unload on these fuckers before someone throws in the towel and decides its a waste of ammo and money?
Here's my take:
Send in British S.A.S. or similar SEAL teams and extract him from Libya. Then decide whether or not to execute his ass or lock him away for good. He isn't Castro, people. He doesn't have decoys or clones of himself running around to protect himself. We found Saddam chillin in a spider hole we can sure as fuck find Gaddafi and take his ass out.
To the media:
Shut the fuck up and report something new. No one gives a flying fuck about politicians sitting around saying the same fucking thing with their thumbs up their asses.
I swear you'll never see WW3 happen like the old days because the entire world is too much of a giant sandy smelly fucking pussy to start it. If anything, it'll be a bunch of politicians sitting around arguing, using harsh language and throwing shoes at each other with whoever gets a black eye losing in the end.
Unfuckingbelievable...

China moves forward with a flat top
In December of 1985, a keel was laid down in a Soviet shipyard for an Admiral Kuznetsov class multirole aircraft carrier. This was to be the second carrier of its kind produced. She was launched in 1988 and renamed in late 1990 as the Varyag after a famous Russian Cruiser.
At this point you're probably thinking "Russia had aircraft carriers?" or "Who gives a fuck?"
Here's where things get interesting. Construction was stopped in 1992 and ownership was transferred to the Ukraine after the fall of the Soviet Union. In April of 1998 she was auctioned to the Republic of China under the condition that she was never refitted for combat. Stripped of its power plant and essentials for combat operations, the Chinese have been holding on to her for quite some time.
As of 2011, the Varyag has been renamed to the Shi Lang and is scheduled for sea testing later this year. A few years ago the Chinese were in a deal to purchase 50 carrier capable versions of the Su-33 fighter aircraft from the Russians but fortunately it never came to be due to Russia fearing that the Chinese would recreate the aircraft and sell them at a lower price thus hurting the weakened export trade for Russia. Although not currently being fitted for combat readiness (combat sensors and defensive weapons), US intelligence suggests that this carrier could dramatically shift the Asian influence for disputed islands and trade routes.
Here is a comparison of the current Aircraft carriers in service from various countries (The Kuznetsov is the second largest):
Rising above all of this, however, is the concern regarding China now in possession of a WORKING Soviet Heavy Aircraft Missile Carrier that is almost certainly going to be rearmed and refitted with combat systems and weapons. Steam and exhaust has been seen rising from the ship's island which confirms that her engines and propulsion will be fully operational very soon. It is unclear as to the aircraft type or numbers she will have stowed below the flat top when sea trials have been completed. Released Soviet information on the aircraft carrier suggests she can hold upwards of 50 various aircraft types including fighters, helicopters, and early warning spotter aircraft.
This is her current state docked in China:
I'm concerned that this carrier could be the start of a new rise in Chinese naval production thus cementing China as the 2nd largest world super power. Russia currently has plans to bring their ONLY remaining flag ship carrier, the original Admiral Kuznetsov (same class as the sister ship Varyag/Shi Lang} in for a major refit, air wing expansion and modernization (angled deck with catapults and possibly a nuclear power plant) by 2012. Based on what we know, its safe to assume that Moscow is well aware of China's ambitions and is moving forward with being prepared for the worst. The largest problem the Shi Lang poses to the entire region is its capability to put itself in attack range of Russian, Japanese, South Korean, and U.S. military installations. While China has lightened up its aggressiveness towards U.S. Naval activity in Asian waters, this could just be the calm before the storm.
The U.S. currently has plans for a new Super Carrier class (FORD) to replace various current Nimitz class carriers. 3 FORD class Super Carriers are planned with the first (CVN-78) to be completed by 2015. Defense Secretary Robert Gates announced that the U.S. Naval Carrier program would shift to a 5 year build program suggesting that we could have as many as 40 FORD class Super Carriers on the water by 2040. The last of the Nimitz class carriers is not scheduled for decommission until 2058 but puts the current class on track for replacement by the new FORD class. There are 10 Nimitz class carriers currently in service with the USS Enterprise being the first scheduled to be decommissioned by 2013.
Anyone that didn't feel safe reading this up until I got to our bad ass Navy stats should feel a little better now.

Japan Raises The Roof
Today Japanese officials have raised their nuclear disaster status to level 7, the highest level on the chart for disasters, after measuring massive amounts of radiation at the Fukushima plant.
Somehow, even though I'm not at all surprised by this, I'm still in a state of shock.
Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Chernobyl part 2.
Now, no shit, it's not quite as bad as Chernobyl...YET...but this is only the 2nd time in history a nuclear disaster has ranked at the highest level (7). With how many hydrogen explosions, spent fuel rods melting, power failures, and radiation leaks the Japanese have had to deal with since their Tsunami/Quake, I'm quite literally struggling to see any positives coming from all of this. As good as the Japanese are at turning shit around (hell we bombed them back to the stone age twice in a row in WW2) It's still going to take them a shit load of time, money, resources, and effort to turn the frowns upside down.
Really honestly, as much as I make fun of everyone no matter what color or shape you are, I really do want to say I am keeping that island in my thoughts and hope the hell stops for them sooner rather than later.
The beginning
Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of blowing shit up.
As the days, weeks, months, years, etc go by, I'll be documenting opinion and fact on everything from Obama taking it in the ass from his Amazonian wife to new blisteringly fast cars.
But before we dive into this we must establish some ground rules:
Rule #1 - There are no rules
Everyone is equally fucked (yes I said FUCKED) and will not be given any remorse. My opinion is the law on this blog. I'm not here to win an academy award or score a G rating so that little kids can read this and not have to ask their parents what a whore is. This is quite literally going to be Bill O'Reilly with a strap on screaming bloody murder "THE CHICKENS ARE COMING THE CHICKENS ARE COMING!"
So, without further annoyance and time consumption, welcome to my blog.
